Girls in FRAME :
Rashida Jones

paragraph:
The Los Angeles that Rashida Jones once knew is different than the one that exists now. The West Coast–born and bred writer/producer (it’s taken her a while to embrace that moniker) is known for her acting roles, but these days, it’s all about the other side of the camera—unless she finds a character to play who wholeheartedly “doesn’t give a shit.” We first met Rashida at Google Summer Camp in Sicily three and a half years ago and it’s been full-on ever since. The menswear-loving, New Year’s Eve–hating, Kendrick Lamar–blasting, left turning (more on that later) friend of FRAME let us into her LA home and gave us the rundown—’90s style.

paragraph:What's something in your closet you would never throw away? --
I have an original Twin Peaks Physical Education T-shirt. It must have been a wrap gift from
when my mom was on the show. It's what people go vintage shopping to find.

paragraph: How do you describe your style?--
I'm all about comfort. It's number one for sure. I am trying to figure out what my look is from now until 80 or so.
All the people I admire and respect know what they like fashion-wise and they've been dressing in a similar way forever. I want a uniform.
I grew up wearing a uniform for 13 years. I love menswear though- lots of blazers and button-down shirts and menswear-inspired
pants and loafers and oxfords. That's the look I have going on.

You get home from a long day of work. What do you change into? --
I change into PJ's almost immediately. And I throw on fuzzy socks. It's look you don't want anyone seeing you in. It's not cute.
