Why oh why can’t I seem to figure out what size I am in Frame jeans??? These are oversized per the fit instruction and I get that, but that doesn’t really communicate exactly *how* oversized these really are…so here’s my advice—take the size you *think* you are, and go down at least two, possibly three sizes. Yes, seriously. In other brands I’m a pretty consistent 26, so I got a 25 in these after seeing the reviews thinking that would give a more polished fit while still keeping the flowy look (because that’s kinda the point here). But even after trying to shrink them, they are still practically falling off me! Sitting “low” on the hips is an understatement—I’ll be lucky if I can keep these jeans on! I should have gone with a 24, maybe even a 23. Why didn’t I return them? Well, I got a great deal during the sale, and they’re actually really cute jeans if you can get them to fit right—I love love love the way the legs are made so that they have extra fabric. I’ll probably take them to a tailor and see if they can do anything with them, but I’m finding that this kind of sizing mishap is happening more and more lately with Frame. “True to size” means nothing anymore—I used to buy this brand of jeans in 27s and 26s, but I recently had to return a pair of wide-leg jeans that were great except that they were enormous in a 26 and the other jeans of various styles that I’ve ordered in that same size are not consistent.
