- Wash your jeans inside out in cold water with like colors.
- Add a cup of vinegar to the wash to prevent fading. Although the vinegar may leave a temporary scent, it will disappear with wear.
- Use detergents specifically designed for dark colors, such as Woolite or Tide.
- When washing a rinse wash or dark indigo jean for the first time, wash it alone to prevent any issues with dye transfer.
